Also, I prefer Discord for voice as the onboard Roll20 stuff has been less than reliable. Please have a decent microphone and know how to manage any background noise. Be audible (but only when you mean to be). While the story will certainly have some hard-hitting moments, this crew can appreciate a good joke that doesn't derail things too hard. This is not the right table for deathly serious min-maxed monstrosities. Go ahead add it to the calendar: "My Favorite 5e Game: Mondays from 2pm to 5pm Eastern." Respect the tone of the game. Life happens, but if you're out more than once a month it's not gonna work. Recognize that you're making a weekly commitment by joining this game. We'll start the adventure at level 2, with the possibility of reaching level 11 or 12 before all is said and done.
